The crossing of the Vikos Gorge is one of the most beautiful experiences for hikers and nature lovers.The most famous route is the one that starts from the village of Vikos and after a course of about 6-7 hours it ends at the village Monodendri.The dense vegetation, the color variations and the geological formations make hiking unique. At the beginning of the canyon a short detour leads to the springs of the river Voidomatis and the chapel of "Our Lady of Vikos"
